Finger Spin
The starting point for most XDISC tricks.
Learn this move and you are well on your way to creating new amazing tricks!
STEP 1
Hold the disc underneath by placing your index finger inside the pyramid.
STEP 2
Grab the pyramid with your index finger, middle finger and thumb.
STEP 3
Twist the disc like a top.
STEP 4
That’s it! Move on to more advanced tricks below!
Palm Spin
Almost the same as the Finger Spin but place the pyramid upside down in your palm. Also a starting point for more advanced XDISC tricks.
STEP 1
Open one hand with fingers apart.
STEP 2
Place the pyramid in your palm upside down and rotate with your other hand.
STEP 3
Bam… You got it!
Spin Flip/Turnover
The iconic XDISC trick! Mastering this trick means you are ready for advanced full-body rotations and flips.
STEP 1
Hold the disc underneath by placing your index finger inside the pyramid.
STEP 2
Twist/spin the pyramid fast just like the Finger Spin.
STEP 3
With the disc rotating, visualize a straight line extending from your forearm. Then place your index finger from your other hand on this line on the trick deck.
STEP 4
Rotate the disc perpendicular to the ground with both fingers stabilizing the disc.
STEP 5
Continue rotating and slowly move your finger that is on the trick deck towards the pyramid.
STEP 6
Use your finger now underneath the disc to guide the pyramid into your palm.
Under Leg Pass
Increase the difficulty by passing the XDISC under your leg and then popping it up or adding your own flair!
STEP 1
Hold the disc underneath by placing your index finger inside the pyramid.
STEP 2
Twist/spin the pyramid fast just like the Finger Spin.
STEP 3
Bring your arm downward while lifting your leg so the disc can go underneath.
STEP 4
While keeping your leg high, pass the disc underneath your leg.
STEP 5
Be ready to pop the disc up so you can complete the pass to your other hand!
STEP 6
Pop the disc up and catch with a finger on your other hand! The higher the pop the better!
Under Arm Rotation
Increase the difficulty by passing the XDISC under your leg and then popping it up or adding your own flair!
STEP 1
Hold the disc underneath by placing your index finger inside the pyramid.
STEP 2
Twist/spin the pyramid fast just like the Finger Spin.
STEP 3
Bring your arm straight up.
STEP 4
Begin to slightly rotate from your shoulder and start to bring the disc down toward the outside. Keep your finger pointing up during the whole rotation.
STEP 5
Keep your finger up! Rotate your your arm inward and bring the disc inward toward your body.
STEP 6
Slowly rotate the disc under your arm and to the front of your body.
STEP 7
Continue to rotate and bring the disc forward and up.
STEP 8
Thats it! Pop the disc up for a little more flair at the end of the trick.
